Since 1957, Lime Rock Park has been a beacon for those who want to enjoy the outdoors all while experiencing the thrills of road racing. Tucked in an almost hidden valley among the rolling hills of scenic Northwest Connecticut, the Park provides the ideal getaway for those seeking to retreat to the country yet still crave the excitement that sports car racing brings.
The hallmark of Lime Rock is its wide-open spaces and grassy hillside spectator viewing areas. Rather than grandstands or bleachers, fans either camp here or bring their picnic blankets, pop-up tents or enjoy the VIP tent or semi-private cabanas. The park annually hosts 3 major spectator events: the Memorial Day Classic featuring Trans-Am, the SpeedTour All-Star Race, and the Lime Rock Park Historic Festival. The park also provides free nearby parking, free admission for children 12 and under, and free admission for veterans, retired and active members of the military.
Want to learn how to drive safer or drive faster? The track has several opportunities for beginner or intermediate-level drivers to learn car handling techniques all while sitting in the comfort of your own vehicle.
