The annual Spring Outdoors connects you to lands, waters, and trails in The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor, including some properties not normally accessible to the public. Enjoy interesting features and stories from the Spring Equinox on March 19 until the Summer Solstice on June 20.

Come see over 40,000 snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, tulips, alliums and other bulbs bloom in sequence at Bridgeport’s colorful Colorblends House & Spring Garden from April 1-May 12.

Beginning in April, the Halfinger Farm located in Higganum allows visitors to pick your own daffodils. Spend an afternoon outside while picking your own flowers.

Come see thousands of blooming daffodils and enjoy the day's activities, including open-hearth cooking in the Colonial kitchen, tours of the historic 302-year-old Denison manor house in Mystic.

The Hollister House & Garden located in Washington opening day is April 19. Celebrate springtime with a new season in the gardens.

This year's New Haven Although New Haven's Cherry Blossom Festival takes place April 14 and commemorates the planting of 73 cherry trees in 1973. Featuring live entertainment, arts and crafts, and a great range of food.

Spend a day outdoors with nature activities, scavenger hunt, and exploring the grounds of the historic Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown during the annual Daffodil Day on April 21.

Attend the Connecticut Sheep, Wool & Fiber Festival on April 27 in North Haven, an agricultural and educational experience for all that was started in 1909 by the Connecticut Sheep Breeders Association. Learn about sheep farming and items produced by small farms and businesses, including fiber, tools, soaps, dyes, finished goods, local cheese, and more.

Delight in springtime and 600,000 blooming daffodils at the Daffodils Festival in Meriden's Hubbard Park during the festival weekend on April 29-30. It's a festival of fun for the entire family, with arts and crafts, live music, fireworks, carnival rides, a parade, a food tent, and more.

Farmington's Hill-Stead Museum hosts the annual May Market, May 4-5, featuring premium exhibitors, rare and unusual plants, and demonstrations.
