The Thames River Heritage Park is a collection of historic and cultural sites along the shores of the Thames River, telling the stories that shaped our nation. Our partner sites are linked by seasonal water taxis, refurbished navy vessels, which transport visitors to three landing sites in New London and Groton.
Harbor cruises and historic boat tours:
Join us for harbor cruises, historic boat tours, happy hour events with local celebrities, walking tours, and more! Show proof of vaccination on the boat and receive half off a harbor cruise. Tickets for harbor cruises can be purchased online or on the boat. Tickets for historic boat tours must be purchased in advance through our website. We are dog, bike, and BYOB friendly.
Passengers can hop on and hop off at one of three landings: Fort Trumbull State Park and City Pier in New London, and Thames River Landing in Groton. Round-trip harbor cruises are 40 minutes long.

Sat., Sun. & holidays, 11:40 a.m.-6:20 p.m. The water taxi makes three stops each hour in a continuous hop on-hop off loop beginning and ending at Fort Trumbull.

Harbor Cruises: Adults $10 (round trip), children & active military $5 (round trip), children (3 and under) free. Adult’s season pass $50, children’s season pass $30.
